Juan David R

My work lives at the intersection of psychology, communication, and light. Based in Bogotá, I came to photography through an understanding of people — how they move, what they feel, what they’re afraid to show — and I brought that into the most honest environment I know: live music. I partner with musicians, venues, and producers to document concerts and massive events, not as spectacles, but as human experiences. The crowd, the artist, the moment right before the drop — that’s where the real image is. I don’t chase the obvious shot. I wait for the one that tells the truth.

But the work doesn’t stop at the stage. I shoot e-commerce, portraits, and personal sessions with the same emotional intelligence I bring to a crowd of thousands. I edit photo and video, manage social media, and build the digital presence that surrounds a creative career. Trained in psychology at Konrad Lorenz University and photography at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, I don’t just capture moments — I understand why they matter.
